After waiting all year, Sandia Speedway opened up and the club SMRI put on a track/race weekend with a Race School on Friday the 14th of August, Track Day the 15th and the Law Tigers 1st Round Championship on Sunday the 16th. In July the club put on a “trial” track day to see if there was sufficient interest. There were safety protocols in place with mask wearing, pre-registration only and to stay in your own pit. There was a large response and so the rest of this season was to go on!
