What our customers say about us.
Hey Marc, Just wanted to day “thank you,” for the Sprinter Mercedes Van…we named it Lewis as in Lewis and Clark the great explorers…we took it on our first over night into the Jemez mountains for a mountain bike ride and hot spring soak! We loved it…
Hey Greg and Marc,
Your shop does excellent work on my 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van 4×4. So, I am considering a new purchase of a vehicle that would involve your shop.
Rode my 350 Jawa twin today and also my ‘68 Honda 350 Scrambler, which Marc and Frances, from OCD Custom Cycles, turned around for a starter clutch repair in a day! Just love it. Great weather. Hope you are riding, too.
It’s a good thing I was wearing a full face helmet; there’s no telling how many bugs I’d have in my teeth from the ear to ear smile on my ride home.
The handling is so crisp it’s amazing! It’s such a solid feeling. The engine purrs, (thanks for the carb sync), idles wonderfully. It’s great to have brakes again, they are bedding in nicely.
Simply a joy to ride! It just gets better and better every time you work on it. If I had engine guards I’d consider a track day:)
I mention your shop anytime someone checks out my bike, which is quite often. I am so grateful to have you as a trusted resource.
Thank You!
Best BMW mechanic in the Southwestern USA!
Hi Frances,
Hope that you and Marc are having a great week! Just wanted to let you know that Luis and I had an awesome ride to Telluride. The lights that Marc installed were PERFECT and the front wheel was smooth. Thank you for all of the coordination you did to make that happen, I appreciate it. …I think we are planning another long trip to Telluride in September, so I may need some new tires by then.
Thank you,
Victor
P.S. Hopefully you guys can join us on the next trip!
Hi Marc,
The bike rode back to ABQ without a miss. Thank you again for making time to check it out and fix it so quickly. It adds immeasurably to the pleasure of owning a classic BMW bike like this to have it associated with a resource as competent, reliable and responsive as OCD.
Best,
Hey, major kudos to Marc and the team there. In addition to some other maintenance performed well, he went above and beyond to rework the levers, handlebars and bar risers on my ’06 BMW K1200S. The changes converted a bike that I was never really comfortable on into a tight, responsive and waaaaay better handling machine that I didn’t know was lurking in there. You guys rocked this. Thanks!
OCD Cycles knows what they are doing when it comes to BMW motorcycle services. Super clean shop & great staff. Very satisfied with their work.
Hey Greg, Please thank whoever is responsible for replacing my lost bolt for the seat, it’s the little things like that that set OCD apart from the crowd.
If you crash your new motorcycle like an idiot, this is the place to go!! Thanks Marc and Frances for everything!! Best quality and service you can get on any bike. Come check it out!!
Frances and Marc, Thanks for the OUTSTANDING customer service and technical expertise!
Thanks always
Hi folks, I was the Canadian who stumbled fortuitously into your shop in mid-May in need of an oil change for my F800GS. I wanted to thank you both very much for seeing to this, even though I showed up at 5pm (I’m sure you had cold beers to drink, or something better to do at home). The last thing you wanted at that hour was get all greasy again for some lost foreigner. But that’s what you, Marc, did. You gave my bike new blood and me a big lift, as I was spaced out and confused, having ridden since morning with one thing on my mind – Must Change Oil.
I loved your shop, too. Sent a bunch of pics of it back to my boys here in Toronto, all offroaders of big dualsports and they were salivating. We have very few motorcycle shops like yours up here, as they can’t survive the 6 months of no business through our merciless winters. So that, too, made a mere oil change into a proper treat. The bike ran perfectly for the entire trip. I’ll post the full story of my ride on ADVRider and send you the link once it’s up. Might take a few weeks.
…Hope you’re both all right and business is good.
On a group ride through northern New Mexico in August, I noticed the tread on the rear tire of my 2003 Suzuki Volusia had worn down to the belt. Shame on me for allowing this to happen, and of course, this occurred on a Sunday. Stranded and with few options, I spoke with Frances and Marc on Monday morning who ordered a replacement Metzler tire that was shipped to the shop later in the week. On Thursday morning, Marc had the new tire mounted, and my bike was ready for the long ride home. I am greatly indebted to Frances and Marc for their kindness and assistance in my time of distress. I suspect they had to move tasks around in their schedules to accommodate me, and they were most helpful in providing professional advice. I highly recommend them.
Cheers,
To Marc, Frances and the crew:
Just wanted to thank you all for the annual service you provided for my Concours. The clutch, after the excess air was bled out of it, is just like butter and made a world of difference in the feel of it, after taking it on a jaunt over the High Road to Taos. Can’t thank you guys enough, and Happy Easter to you all!
Best Regards,
Heidenau Love
Lost between Ojo and Embudo, 20 miles all sand, some sections wanted to swallow the 1200 bumble bee. Heidenau did what the tourance could not, that is for sure. Ran 30/32 psig F/R on the pavement based on Ian Carpenter’s input from the OCD party, then dropped to 23 psig F/R for the sand, seemed to work well. Got me through to the Taos Mesa Brewery, cheers to Heidenau. Thank you for the OCD party, great food, and made some new friends. Have you ever thought of hosting a BMW/other garage sale/swap meet?
Best regards, Mit freundlichen Grüßen
