George Mally and his wife Sue have an amazing company Santa Fe Mountain Adventures offering off-road tours in exotic military vehicles to unknown places right here just an hour away and other end destinations a bit further. They also offer other services such as hiking, mountain bike tours. The PInzgauers and the G-Wagen is where our paths cross as we maintain the vehicles for this part of his business. George is an amazing driver and very knowledgeable about the terrain, geology, wildlife and history of the area.

He took us out on Sunday for one of these off-road tours and we invited our employees and their family or friends to experience what one of these vehicles can do and why they are special. We went to the Caja del Rio where we saw Golden Eagles soaring overhead and then on to the Blowhole (a deep volcanic vent) in record time where we had an outdoor picnic and enjoyed the spectacular weather and nature in New Mexico. The 14-seat PInzgauer 712 is a 6-wheel drive truck made in Switzerland by Puch for military use with 14″ of clearance and independent locking differentials that make it capable of going where no other vehicle can go.
