This was the second year for this show and it was really fun! Many vintage motorcycle collectors, appreciators and aficionados got together on Sunday June 24th at the 2nd Street Brewery (Rufina Street Location unofficially named “The Rufinery”) in the tap room and admired the pre-1979 motoorcycles that were lined up at the show. Some real quality and precious machines were present with their owners. Many brands were represented : Ducati, Harley, Honda, Indian, BMW, Ural, and completely custom builds. The Ducati noted under neath of its picture below won first place in the people’s choice awards.
Very nice atmosphere for attendees to eat and drink and come back into the tap room to look and talk some more. The show was officially from 1-4 but the entries showed up at 11:00 am so the party began then! There was a band in the main restaurant area afterwards so many people stayed late after the show was over for the music. Rod Tweet and the whole 2nd Street group really did a knock-out job!
We can expect the show to happen again next year so polish up your vintage bike and get it ready for next year’s show!
