Wake Up Call’s MK Mendoza speaks with local businessman Marc Beyer, Co-Owner and Co-Founder of OCD Custom Cycles & Auto Repair in Santa Fe New Mexico. He talks about what it has been like to survive the pandemic. Marc shares tips for other business owners how his company has managed this crisis. He says revenues have been down so the government relief programs really helped. But, these funds were difficult to attain. Marc explains that many small businesses do not have the resources to keep detailed records that the Federal, State, and City relief programs require to get the funds. Because of this, it really highlights the need for a good record keeping system. He suggests some local resources to help with the applications to get the funding that is offered.
His company’s focus has been on retaining good employees and fortunately this has been the focus of the pandemic relief programs. He thinks in order to make it through this shut down, business owners have to get creative and keep a positive attitude about the coming year. Listen to Marc Beyer Here
