SMRI had the 2nd part of the North-South Cup this weekend so the pit and grids were full. Racers from the southern part of the state who normally race with ASMA at Arroyo Seca Raceway came up to challenge us. Kraut Racing had another marvelous weekend at Sandia Speedway with SMRI. Participating this month with Kraut Racing was Lance Echols, Marc Beyer, and Frances Sayre.
Marc got 1st in Amateur Club Sport and Middle-Weight Vintage and a 2nd in Thunderbike
Lance got a 6th in ULGP! The money purse race and highly competitive. His bike got permanently stuck in neutral during his second race Formula 40 so that unfortunately ended his day.
Frances got a 4th in Formula Femme, 2nd in Middle Weight Vintage, and stalled on the grid for Light-Weight Vintage 🙁
