We had a wonderful turnout for Eric Moffat and his slide show about tours his company take to India, Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan! Thanks for coming! If you did not attend, what you missed was an inspiring presentation of pictures and scenery of the countries on their tours and insight into the history of his company. What most impressed Marc and I was the affordability, the accessibility to different levels of riding, the different types of tours, and how well the company is run. With over 30 years of experience on these tours, Eric is current with the politics of the region and also a history buff – so we were all educated.

Have you ever wondered what motorcycling through the Himalayas would be like? This presentation will tell you how you could make this come true or to just see and here about this wonderful adventure on a motorcycle to one of the most exotic places on earth.
Eric will present a slide show about the tours he and his company guide on Royal Enfields through the Himalayas. Eric has been traveling by motorcycle throughout Asia since his father, Patrick Moffat, first introduced him to that fine art in the early 1990s. Since Patrick’s untimely passing in late 2010, Eric has continued his father’s work coordinating and leading Asian motorcycle adventures.
Patrick (pictured below) was the true pioneer of motorcycle touring in Asia, running the first ever tours to Mongolia, Tibet and Bhutan and developing the routes to the highest pass in the World, Khardung-La, and across Rajasthan. Eric has inherited not just that spirit but also Patrick’s empathy with the Himalayan region and he and our dedicated local crew will really bring out the best in Asian motorcycle travel and the best in you.
