We took the employees and a couple friends on the Rio Grand Race Course with New Wave Rafting Co.
The river was higher than normal at this time of the year due to all the sweet monsoon rain we had. The weather was perfect – not too hot and no rain. Britt Runyon, who is also a customer of ours, outfitting us with a couple of exceptional river guides and helped us pick the right course.
We met early in the mornign on highway 68 near Embudo. Of course Greg rode his motorcycle up! Due to excellent team work we had a blast and no one left the boat while on the river.
After the raft ride we went to Sugar’s BBQ (Slade’s recommendation) and had the best burgers and fries in our combined memories. They tasted especially good outdoors on picknick tables in the shade unde rthe trees!
