Open House with Mayor and City Councilor

Open House

Our open house was a great success. Many customers and friends came to take a peek at the new digs. The Mayor, Javier Gonzales, and city councilor Signe I. Lindell were present for the building dedication. Java Joe’s provided the coffee, Gerry Carthy played music, The contractor, John G Rehders and his wife were present, the architect William Kleinschmidt and his girlfriend Diane came, and the realtor Karen West who helped us find and purchase the property was also in attendance. We had hung the gorgeous wall sculpture by Pascal Pierme. He created this piece specifically for the building and donated to  us. William Kleinschmidt also donated a wall piece designed from aluminum cuts and very fitting for the building. Frances’ parents had traveled from Virginia to be there. Many people have helped us make this day a reality.
